Both Wren Academy Enfield and Wren Academy Finchley have achieved remarkable success in supporting large numbers of students to achieve the Bronze and Silver DofE awards.  The schools have some of the highest participation rates in the country with a total of almost 500 students completing the awards. 

This level of commitment to the award resulted in a visit from a Department of Education delegation keen to understand the reasons for our success, so that other schools can match what has been achieved at Wren.

20 Sixth Form students from across the MAT are currently completing the Gold award with preparations in place for expeditions to the Peak District and Snowdonia National Parks later this year.  It is anticipated that the Trust will see a doubling of participants in the next academic year.
